Cognac Grosperrin 1992
- The Grosperrin house was founded in 1981 by Jean Grosperrin and is now managed by Guilhem Grosperrin.
In the beginning, Jean bought casks of old cognacs to age his own, with the aim of producing exceptional cognacs.
Today, wine barrels with few tannins are used in order to preserve the typicality of cognacs. The maturation of cognacs in humid cellars allows them to be naturally smooth and reduce gradually.
The particularity of Grosperrin cognacs is that we find on the bottle the age of the cognac as well as the history of each product (its origin, its aging, its particularities, etc.)
All Grosperrin cognacs are shaped using the five elements: water (humidity in the cellars), fire (heating the barrels), wood (the barrels), earth (the terroir) and metal (the copper stills).
For the Grosperrins, cognac rhymes with family, sharing and passion.
The leitmotiv of the house is: "To testify the Charente heritage without artifice".
