Château Branas Grand Poujeaux: Between Heritage and Innovation.

Château Branas Grand Poujeaux is led by a young and dynamic team seeking to bring to the forefront the potential of the beautiful terroir of Moulis.

Within the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation, Château Branas Grand Poujeaux is recognized as one of the flagships: its wine expresses all the power and elegance of the terroir. In line with the idea of renewing the estate, in 2018 Château Branas Grand Poujeaux obtained HVE (High Environmental Value Level III) certification.

Moulis is located between the Margaux appellation and the Saint-Julien appellation and is mainly composed of Graves soils or sandy-clayey plains. The estate extends over 17 hectares of mainly gravelly, well-draining soils, which benefits the quality of the berries.

The vineyard has a grape variety of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.
